Great Chicago Jobs Alternative Career Solutions
It used to be that businesses primarily relied upon hiring permanent employees to perform most of the work done within the organization and then may have relied upon temporary services to provide some back-up relief. The last few years however has brought about a lot of changes in the way businesses are staffed. A strong economy, in part driven by efficiency gains in the marketplace through automation and Internet commerce, has changed the face of employment.

Indeed the meaning of the terms "permanent jobs" and "temporary jobs" are changing with the times. There are temporary jobs that can last for years on end and may also offer comparable benefits packages usually associated with permanent jobs. Temporary and contract job benefits are definitely improving especially within certain industries. Other forms of employment include utilizing leased or contracted employees as well as what we call outsourced field employees. These field employees, what we call "Ultimate Performers", are those who are permanently employed but perform work in a temporary capacity for our client companies.

While it may sound confusing, the changing nature of employment represents a dynamic menu of options for businesses to choose from in developing a blended work force. For employees it represents an array of choices that offers more flexibility to fit any number of career or personal goals. It's possible that a firm may require a work force with all forms of staff: permanent, temporary, temp-to-hire, contracted, leased, part-time and internship. We have good news on that front; Placement Supervisors at our downtown Great Chicago Jobs Center are skilled in helping you find all of these forms of employment.

Contract/Leased Employees
This type of staffing represents outsourcing to a large degree, but with more control for the client business and a level of commitment and stability on the part of the contract employee. Generally speaking contract or leased employment agreements can last from several weeks to a couple of years in duration. The nature of these contracts can vary widely, but contracted work can be a viable and exciting alternative to the traditional method of working.

In this scenario, Proven Solutions is the actual employer and assumes a co-management role with our client firms. Our contracts generally run three months or longer and may go up to a year.
